Teaching

Marketing isn't simply something I've taught—it's something I've practiced throughout my career.

I began teaching in 2008 at The Art Institute of Austin under Peggy Blum while completing my MBA at LeTourneau University.  I later taught business and marketing courses at LeTourneau University and East Texas Baptist University, where I was fortunate to learn from mentors including Dr. Scott Ray, Dr. Ken Fairweather,  Dr. Kathleen Mays, and Dr. Karen Jacobs.

Since then, I've continued building brands, developing marketing strategies, launching new initiatives, and leading creative projects across business, non-profits, and entrepreneurial organizations. These real-world experiences continue to shape my teaching philosophy and provide authentic case studies that bridge academic theory with practical application.

I believe the best learning happens when students can connect concepts to real challenges, think strategically, and leave with the confidence to apply what they've learned beyond the classroom. My goal is to help students leave the classroom not only understanding marketing concepts, but with the confidence to apply them in meaningful ways.

These case studies demonstrate how marketing theory translates into practice through branding, entrepreneurship, strategic communication, audience engagement, and leadership.
