Long before I was building brands, designing websites, and creating marketing campaigns, I was telling stories through fashion, merchandising, and visual design. My career as a professional stylist taught me that every detail—from color and composition to lighting and presentation—shapes the way people experience a brand.
After graduating from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising, I moved to Dallas to work as a fashion stylist with the Clutts Agency. I had the opportunity to style advertising campaigns and promotional work for clients including JCPenney, Neiman Marcus, Hilton Hotels, AAFES, and Pier 1 Imports. At the same time, I spent more than a decade working alongside Alden Clanahan at the Dallas Market Center, creating visual merchandising displays that connected products with the people they were designed for.
Although my career has evolved into marketing, branding, and education, those years continue to influence every creative project I take on. Styling taught me that good design isn't simply about making something beautiful—it's about helping people see value, tell a story, and create meaningful connections.
